The Community Foundation of Utah is excited to sponsor a new track in Utah’s Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year competition—the first ever Ernst & Young Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
What is a social entrepreneur? A social entrepreneur is someone who blends entrepreneurial practices with nonprofit causes. Organizations and individuals that developed innovative ways to solve complex social problems were invited to apply. The award winner will be announced at the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Gala. The following are the three finalists:
- Academy for Creating Enterprise - Bette Gibson
- Artspace - Jessica Norie
- The Road Home - Matt Minkevitch
