The Positive Financial Impact of Nonprofit Advocacy
In the North Carolina, the advocacy efforts of thirteen non-profit organizations were followed over a five-year period and the monetary value of their work was analyzed. The combined value of their efforts was found to be over $1.8 billion, and many non-quantifiable benefits were received including affordable medication for seniors, jobs for youth, and less exposure of farmers to toxic chemicals.
