Wasatch Community Gardens is a community-based nonprofit that has served the Salt Lake County community for over 20 years. A national leader in the urban gardening movement, Wasatch Community Gardens provides the education, tools, and space for people to grow their own fresh food, and cultivate stronger, healthier communities along the Wasatch Front.
The Wasatch Community Gardens Endowment supports the long term viability of the community gardens and sustainable food and gardening education for youth and adults. All gifts to the endowment are invested in a socially responsible fund, reflecting the core values of the organization and its mission to empower people of all ages and incomes to grow and eat healthy, organic, local food.
Your support helps us bring gardening education and opportunities to over 9,000 people in our community each year! Gifts of any size are welcome. Use our on line giving portal or call the foundation staff to make a gift at (801) 559-3005.
A contribution to the Wasatch Community Gardens Endowment represents an investment in the health of our community, both the land and the people. The gardens are peaceful oases in the midst of urban neighborhoods, as well as highly productive and busy agricultural lands. The gardens reconnect urban dwellers with the seasonality often lacking from our indoor lives. They are places to plant, grow, and harvest, as well as places to heal, connect, lead, and celebrate.
