Micaela Weil

Director of Philanthropy

Micaela has been with the Community Foundation of Utah since 2018, leading the Philanthropic Services Department. She uses her previous experience with tech start-ups to help exiting entrepreneurs maximize their charitable donations. Micaela assists clients in the donation process from start to end with Donor Advised Funds, specifically quarterbacking the non-cash complex asset transactions that the Community Foundation of Utah sees regularly. From the technical to the deeply personal, she is committed to working closely with each donor to accomplish their goals. 

Micaela currently serves on the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute Informed Decision Maker Committee, recognizing unsung heroes in both the non-profit and for-profit space. 

Micaela earned her B.S. in Marketing from Creighton University’s Heider College of Business. Her favorite things about Utah are the abundant outdoor activities and close proximity to skiing, hiking, running, and mountain biking. She enjoys her home of Huntsville, Utah with her husband and daughter.
