Investing in Dynamic Leaders
Strong leadership is critical for effective social sector organizations. Leadership development not only strengthens new leaders and keeps leaders vigorous for the long haul — it also improves organizational performance and capacity across multiple dimensions.
Invest in Success has become an indispensable capacity building program for nonprofit leaders across Utah. In partnership with the Center for Community Development at American Express, the Community Foundation of Utah provides an intensive and immersive program allowing nonprofit leaders to build skills in board governance, organizational finance, strategic management, and change leadership that will help take their organization to a new level. Participants are able to step back from daily operations to think creatively and strategically about larger issues their organizations are facing.
Program content is designed and led by a national facilitator to fit participants' needs and builds skills for long-term success. By working together with a network of peers, nonprofit leaders excel in a cooperative learning environment and build a long-lasting support network.
