Raise Up Salt Lake City

Pandemic Relief for Vulnerable Families

The Community Foundation of Utah partnered with the Salt Lake City Mayor’s Office to provide direct financial relief to families not eligible for federal pandemic relief funds, many of whom have been disproportionately affected by COVID-19. With a combination of CARES funding and community donations, the initiative distributed over $1.4 million in prepaid debit cards to residents in need.

We want to thank our partners Comunidades Unidas, University Neighborhood Partners and Utah Community Action for their tireless commitment to supporting vulnerable populations. The impact of this program is evident from firsthand accounts of those receiving the funds. Click here to read more about the program.
